Final Draft and Important note about suits for the 12 and unders!

    Parents,

    I have attached a FINAL DRAFT of our county meet individual entries for this year's Gwinnett County Championship Meet. I placed your swimmer in their highest 3 ranked individual events unless you have contacted me for changes in events. I can be contacted at [email protected]. If the entries are correct for your swimmer then there is no need to respond to me. We will find out Sunday evening which swimmers that were ranked above 50th made it into the meet. I will send out an email Sunday evening after I the league verification meeting (around 9:00-9:30 PM).  

     

    Relays will be determined once it is verified which swimmers will be attending.  

    The process has gone very smoothly and we greatly appreciate both the kind words and the immediate responses throughout the entry process.  The goal is to make sure that no deserving swimmer is denied the opportunity to participate as a result of an error by a parent or coach!

    Special note about suits for 12 and unders:

    Please note the GCSL Championship meet does not meet the criteria defined by Georgia Swimming Standards of a “Championship meet” so therefore we will not allow technical suits at our county meet for those swimming in the 12 and under events. This rule change was communicated to all team council representatives prior to the season start.     We are looking forward to a great meet!  If your swimmer does not make it into the meet, please don't despair.  It is a tough meet to get into.  The Gwinnett County Swim League is one of the largest leagues in the state.  Please congratulate your swimmer for their outstanding efforts and hopefully next year they will make it into the meet!
