Parents and swimmers,

The psych sheet is attached for next weekend's County Championship Meet.  The top 50 swimmers have qualified to participate.  There may be some scratches by other teams that will allow some swimmers to move up in the rankings.  A swimmer ranked in the 51-55 range may still get in.  I will send out the final psych sheet once it is released.  If you do not make it into the meet, please don't be discouraged.  The Gwinnett County Championship Meet is extremely competitive.  It is quite an accomplishment to be ranked in the top 100! 

We are also relying on some swimmers to swim on relays even if they do not qualify individually.  Below is a list of swimmers that we anticipate will be entered on relays.  Relays may change up the start of the event.  Any swimmer not listed below that will be at the meet will be considered and alternate and a potential relay swimmer.

8-Unders:  Mckinley, Abby, Savannah, Scotti, Luke, Sullivan, Jonnie, Liam, Levi

9-10's:  Hadley McClure, Amelia, Mallory, Cedella, Adalyn, Peyton, Liam, Jackson, Lorenzo

11-12's:  Loren, Kayla, Shelby Claire, Aine, Matt Steimer, Cory, Joshua, Michael, Grant

13-14's:  Gabby, Bria, Marlee, Mia, Wynn, Ryland, Austin, Daniel, Zachary

15-18's:  Sophie, Sawyer, Emma, Desi, Weston, Blake, Justin, Will, Evan, Keegan 

The order of events at the County Meet (notice the relays are first):

Freestyle Relay
Medley Relay
Backstroke
Short Freestyle (25 free for 10 and unders, 50 free for 11 and overs)
Individual Medley (only for the 9 and over age groups)
Long Freestyle (50 free for 10 and unders, 100 free for 11 and overs)
Breaststroke
Butterfly

There will be breaks built into the meet schedule to allow swimmers to recover from their races.  There will also be a warm-up/warm-down opportunity for swimmers during the meet.  We will encourage swimmers to warm up and warm down before and after each event.  We will have a team warm-up before the meet.  We will send out our warm up time once it is announced.
