Hi Wahoo Families!

We have just received our required obligations for volunteers for the county meet sessions. We need the following number of volunteers, who are asked to arrive with their athlete at warm up time and stay until the conclusion of the meet:

Session 1 15-18: two volunteers

Session 2 9-10: four volunteers

Session 3 13-14: four volunteers

Session 4 8U: four volunteers

Session 5 11/12: four volunteers 

Please make sure you are signed into swimtopia, and navigate to the TEAM CALENDAR, Event named "County Swim Meet VOLUNTEER SIGN UP" to claim your spot. SIGN UPS DUE JULY 11 by 10:00 pm. We do not have a choice in this matter, so these spots MUST be filled. 

While most of our families have already worked 4 or several more shifts, worked as a board member, or as a key volunteer, we consider these shifts are in addition to any regular season commitment. If you did not fulfill all 4 shifts during the regular season, it is an expectation that you take advantage of this exceptional opportunity to get that last shift in. 

This is an incredibly exciting event with only your age group, so even if your athlete is only swimming an event or two, they will have an absolute blast cheering on their teammates throughout the meet.

To say thank you from the board, all county volunteers will receive a vintage item of team swag from our archive!
