Dear Wahoo Families,

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the exceptional parents who have generously volunteered their time during the county meet sessions. Your dedication and support have not gone unnoticed. However, we still have three vacant spots that urgently need to be filled for Session 5 (11-12s) on Sunday afternoon. These positions include two spots in the staging area, which is quite organized and streamlined compared to a typical dual meet, and one spot as a timer, which offers the best seat in the house. We understand that many families have already fulfilled more than four shifts and have also served as board members or key volunteers throughout the season. Sometimes, due to the workload, certain seasons demand more from us. Additionally, as mentioned during registration, county shifts are considered stand-alone needs, regardless of the previous contributions made by your family, as they play a critical role in the success of the event. It is worth noting that many of our key volunteers and board members are also volunteering this weekend (Personally, I will be timing on Friday). If you have assistance for your other children in the stands, we kindly request that you consider volunteering to support the team. You can contact us via email at [email protected]. By doing so, we can prevent the GCSL from having to contact our coaching staff. Furthermore, please remember that each volunteer will receive an item of team spirit wear from our archives as a token of our appreciation. Once again, we extend our sincere thanks to all of you.
